Royal Gardens offers an array of stimulating programs to meet your social, cultural, and recreational needs. As with all our services, our full-time Activity Directors will tailor a plan according to your needs and desires. Enjoy as many opportunities to become involved as you wish or as much privacy as you want. You choose how you want to live.

We organize activities to complement your current interests and to help you discover new ones. Our philosophy of caring for the “whole” individual means that we encourage participation and social interaction. Our exercise and activation programs are designed to increase mobility and independence. And we offer a full range of group and individual programs designed to enhance your intellectual, spiritual and social involvement.

We believe in enriching and energizing the lives of our residents. Our residents never run out of activities and opportunities for enjoyment and stimulation. We have regular excursions on our air-conditioned shuttle to exciting destinations, including regular shopping expeditions. For intellectual stimulation, we host workshops by guest speakers on a variety of topics. Concerts, movie nights, and live entertainment are all common events at The Gardens. For spiritual enrichment, our non-denominational chapels host regular services, conducted by local clergy. Or, if you prefer, we offer regular transportation to local churches.

We encourage family participation in all of our events. Whether for a special Mother’s Day tea with visiting entertainment or for a simple games night or group stroll around the neighbourhood, families are always invited to be a part of our community. Grandchildren are especially welcome. We specifically plan for events to bring families together. A monthly newsletter and calendar of events keep residents and their families up to date on all events and activities.
